Ruth Foster has been teaching Maths for well over 15 years, with experience of teaching a large range of Maths courses at many levels, from Year 6 and Key Stage 3 to GCSE and A Level. Ruth is an experienced A Level examiner with Edexcel and previously held an FSMQ examiner position for AQA.

In Ruth’s teaching approach she creates a non-judgemental atmosphere of trust wherein students are empowered to put forward their ideas. Students are encouraged to develop their problem solving abilities through activities and discussion, developing a deeper understanding and appreciation of maths.

Ruth is a graduate of Mathematics from Manchester University and has qualified teacher status through Huddersfield University along with a fully up-to-date DBS (CRB) Certificate.
